-A young man from an earlier century narrates a bizarre tale of the paranormal, recounting his experience at the Halloween session of an unnamed Revival Society, in which the ceremonial Halloween game and ritual of the Society are interrupted by the unexpected arrival of an aristocratic ghost.

-A historical satire about the crafty Enrico Dandolo, Doge of the Venetian Republic during the Fourth Crusade of 1204 against Byzantium, this entertaining and edifying story offers both historical tidbits and wit as the question is put to the test: can the Doge outwit the Devil, who leans on the Venetian to negotiate the leak in the roof of Hell that has been irrritating him.
